PreCONNECT® SMAP-G2 - Highly modular 19” panel systems

The perfect solution for your data center cabling

Whatever your requirements are, our 19" PreCONNECT® panel systems can be individually adapted in just a few steps and, depending on the panel variant, focus on maximum space savings through maximum port density or a high degree of serviceability. The plastic-reduced 19" panel systems for data centre cabling are suitable for all IT applications such as Ethernet and Fibre Channel and especially for Spine-Leaf structures. They allow an easy and cost-effective migration to other applications, e.g. from duplex technology to MTP® based parallel optics.

High granularity

Various height and width graduations of the front plates and segmentation of the panel back planes for application-specific cable entries.

Easy configuration

Several coupler and fiber types as well as fiber optic and copper data cabling can be flexibly mixed within one housing.

Optimal use of space

A choice of 48, 72 or 96 ports per HU is available for maximum use of the front panel - depending on whether LC duplex or MTP® ports are used.


Service-friendly assembly

  • Fast and easy handling during installation, one-man installation possible 
  • Toolless assembly of the part front plates or the MTP® module cassettes can be carried out using quick-release fasteners
  • The modul cassettes can be pushed into the panel from the front and can be pulled out to the front for maintenance
  • The proven PreCONNECT® square interface allows the trunk cables to be attached without tools
