Rosenberger OSI wins IT Award 2018 for the third time in succession

Cabling specialist receives the Platinum Award in the category "Data Center Cabling”

Augsburg, October 15, 2018 - Rosenberger Optical Solutions & Infrastructure (Rosenberger OSI), manufacturer of innovative fiber-optic cabling infrastructure in Europe, was awarded for the Platinum Award in the category "Data Center Cabling" at the IT Awards 2018 of Vogel IT-Medien. This is the third time in a row that the company has received this award (2016 with silver, 2017 with platinum).

With the Readers' Choice Award of the insider portals DataCenter-Insider, BigData-Insider, CloudComputing-Insider, Dev-Insider, IP-Insider, Security-Insider and Storage-Insider, Vogel IT-Medien annually awards the most popular providers from individual IT sectors. For the fourth time, each portal called on its readers to select their individual best providers from six categories. For the vote, the editorial team selected 10 providers in each category, who in the past year have excelled or distinguished themselves in any way.

The silver, gold and platinum awards in 42 categories were handed over to the winners by the chief editors of the insider portals of Vogel IT-Medien in a festive evening gala on 11 October 2018 at the Augsburg Steigenberger Hotel "Drei Mohren". In a large survey, the insider portals of Vogel IT-Medien had called on their readers to vote for their supplier or manufacturer of the year by the 31 August 2018.

Rosenberger OSI received the Platinum Award in the "Data Center Cabling" category at the Gala. "We are proud of our third award in a row and are pleased that we were able to impress so many readers with our product development. This confirms that we are on the right track with our focus on high-quality and innovative data center cabling", says Thomas Schmidt, Managing Director of Rosenberger OSI.
