Cabling specialist operates from now on under new logo

Augsburg, 16 February 2017 – Rosenberger OSI, manufacturer of innovative cabling infrastructure based on fiber optics technology, operates from January 2017 on under the well-known red logo of its mother company Rosenberger. "With the visual integration, we are emphasizing the membership to our strong mother company. The synergies allow our customers to benefit from an extensive portfolio of high-frequency solutions as well as the global presence of the Rosenberger group", says Thomas Schmidt, managing director of Rosenberger OSI.

With the participation at the former Rosenberger OSI Systemtechnik and finally the acquisition in 1998, Rosenberger stepped into the fiber optics market. Rosenberger OSI provides pre-assembled cabling solutions based on fiber optics for data centers, telecommunication as well as diverse industrial applications. The portfolio of the company is allocated to different market segments.

Rosenberger OSI offers high-quality solutions for top-of the-rack cabling, infrastructure cabling in raised floors as well as local data distribution for the market "datacenters". The development of PreCONNECT^® PURE is one of the product highlights as the product eliminates 2 essential uncertainty factors which in practice crucially influence the overall performance: contamination and attenuation budget. For the transmission of the Parallel Optics protocols 40/100GBASE-SR4 and GFC 4x16/4x32, the company offers in addition the product PreCONNECT^® OCTO which only needs 8 instead of 12 fibers per SR4 transmission channel.
