PreCONNECT® DUODECIM MTP® is the perfect solution for all who still have conventional transceivers for duplex applications on both cabling sides in foreseeable time, but want to be prepared for the migration to MPO based parallel optics applications. Trunks and 19" panels can be further used for migration.
The fiber optic cabling system PreCONNECT® DUODECIM MTP® promises investment security by optimal use of the trunks for duplex applications and MPO based parallel optical applications. The perfectly matched modular individual components are quick and easy to install thanks to the factory-fabricated plug & play system.
PreCONNECT® DUODECIM LC is the alternative for 6-channel granularity without MTP® interfaces in the transmission channel.
The nx12 fiber-based cabling system consists of:
- Factory assembled fiber optic breakout and loose tube cables, FRNC-LSZH indoor cables, up to 144 fibers
- Connector systems MTP®/MPO with 12 fibers per MTP®/MPO channel or 6 LC-COMPACT per trunk leg
- Port-Breakout with MTP®/MPO module cassettes with LC front for PreCONNECT® DUODECIM MTP® trunks
- Four 19-inch panel systems SMAP-G2 SD, SMAP-G2 HD, SMAP-G2 UHD and VersaTray® selectable
- Suitable harnesses and patchcords

Properties of individual system components
PreCONNECT® square interfaces and installation protection:
Rosenberger OSI brought already 1991 high fiber count factory assembled fiber optic trunk cables to the market. PreCONNECT® STANDARD was the first in Europe developed and manufactured, high fibercount and modular „plug & play“ fiber optic cabling system.
Equipped with PreCONNECT® square interfaces on both sides which can be tool-less hooked into the 19” panel systems for tensile and torsion resistant fixing of the trunks. The trunk connector legs are suitable for the 19“ panel systems and are packaged in non pull resistant dust-proof foil tubes. On request with 150N tensile strength, crush resistant, IP50 kink and torsion resistant, installation tubes deliverable.

Length definition:
Order length = length between the connectors of the longest legs at both sides, not between the PreCONNECT® square interfaces.
Delivery form:
Dependent on the length as cable ring or on cardboard or wooden drum.
Insertion loss measured acc. to IEC 61300-3-4, method C, or "substitution" MM 850 nm / SM 1310 nm, with measurement protocol.
