- Various cable diametres: The bushing can accommodate fibre optic cables with an external diametre of 0.2 mm to 0.3 mm.
The connector itself can be mounted on fibre optic cables with a diametre of 5.0 mm. - High packing density: It stands out for its very compact external diametre of only 14 mm.
- Low insertion loss: This is ≤0.6 dB for both singlemode and multimode.
- High return loss: For singlemode fibres, this is ≥50 dB and for multimode fibres, it is ≥20 dB.
- Reliable mating cycles: The NEX10®-FO is designed for a minimum of 500 mating cycles.
- IP67: The system has an environmentally responsible design and is resistant to both dust and water.
