Rosenberger’s NEX10®-FO fibre optic connector is our most recent miniaturised fibre optic connector solution based on the proven NEX10® RF plug connector. While developing it, we placed a clear focus on a robust, compact design and ease of use. The result is an ultra-modern fibre optic interface. It sets new standards in terms of security, stability and durability.

Benefits

The universal bushing or flange is designed for two installation methods. Push-pull and screw-lock connection. This gives you the greatest possible freedom during installation. Depending on the particular requirements of your project or application. Its compact, patented design makes it ideal for existing and future networks. In particular, the NEX10®-FO was developed with 5G networks in mind. At a time when data rates and connectivity requirements are growing dramatically, reliable, robust connection solutions are indispensable. Our new 2-fibre optical fibre connector system meets the high requirements of current and future infrastructures. This is a real plus for anyone planning for the long term.

  • It is suitable for all singlemode and multimode fibre types.
  • Various cable diametres: The bushing can accommodate fibre optic cables with an external diametre of 0.2 mm to 0.3 mm. 
    The connector itself can be mounted on fibre optic cables with a diametre of 5.0 mm.
  • High packing density: It stands out for its very compact external diametre of only 14 mm.
  • Low insertion loss: This is ≤0.6 dB for both singlemode and multimode.
  • High return loss: For singlemode fibres, this is ≥50 dB and for multimode fibres, it is ≥20 dB.
  • Reliable mating cycles: The NEX10®-FO is designed for a minimum of 500 mating cycles.
  • IP67: The system has an environmentally responsible design and is resistant to both dust and water.
  • Two locking options: You can choose between push-pull and screw locking.
  • Vibration- and temperature-resistant
